Audio volume booster FAQ

What is an audio volume booster?

An audio volume booster raises or lowers the loudness of an audio file. This one processes MP3, WAV, and OGG files in your browser and lets you download a WAV copy.

Does ChatSpark upload my audio?

No. File decoding, preview, gain processing, and WAV export happen locally in your browser. Your audio is not sent to ChatSpark.

Why do I see a clipping warning?

Clipping happens when boosted samples exceed the maximum digital level. The warning means the chosen gain may distort loud peaks; lower the gain or use the rendered limiter.

Will boosting make a quiet recording sound perfect?

Boosting increases level but cannot restore detail lost to background noise or a poor source recording. A WAV export may also be larger than the original compressed file.

Can I use this on my phone?

Yes. Current mobile browsers can select local audio files and download the processed WAV. Keep this tab open until rendering finishes.
